The Time For Crying came about as a result of drummer, John Snider, growing tired of listening to the "whining" in the continual playing of "Baby Why Can't You See." After one more practice on that song, he threw his sticks in the air and said, "Enough! Get Over it! The time for crying is over."
Or so the tale is told.
