about

Every Time I See Your Face is an unabashed revision of a song of the same name written by Shady Day guitar player/singer, Ted Bayes. Chad wrote this version of the song after hearing Ted's song and trying to remember the chords and the basic melody. While neither verswion ever made it into a Shady Day set list until the 70s reunion, it is very representative of the style of songwriting Ted and Chad brought to the original band and is the most blatant example of the "friendly competition" the 2 engaged in.
