Do You Wanna Dance was inspired by the music of the day. Always a popular number with the Rock and Roll crowd, the song actually reached a new audience in the 70s during the Snohomish County/Hangar Tavern Days with a "minor" lyric modification asking if you wanted to dance to the "Country Music."
